Hello to all of you in the Blogosphere. It's me agin talkin bout dem locks o' mine. 2day, yes, 2day, marks my 21st month of havin' Sisterlocks. I'm fully locked and mos def in the teenage stage. I luv my locks but there are some days I look atem and go hum what am I gonna do wid em or how am I gonna wear 'em? They're gettin some length but ain't long enuf for a lot of styles I could do if I had more length. I will tell you this. My ends are in the sealing stage and they're gettin skinnier near the end. As they're maturing they're becoming less lumpier all along the lock. The ones that are fully locked from scalp to the end are like angel hair pasta skinny. I realize, I think, that when they all get like this is when I'll be able to do more styles and have that complete, classic Sisterlock look. Also the ends that are in the process of sealing get a bud in them too. So those of you newbies out there who are gettin buds in various places in your locks, don't fret my pet this is all a part of the journey to Lockdom. I did try a new product recently. It's called nourishing Coconut Milk shampoo and the conditioner with the same name. It's made by Organix. The smell is to die for and it did a good job of cleanin and conditionin my hair. I recently purchased it at Safeway and they were runnin a bogo special. That's buy one get one free for yall that don't know. I paid $6.95 for both. Not too bad if you're a budget conchus sista like me. The bogo special ends New Yea's Day. Y'all, one of my coworkers has traditional freestyle locks that she's had for about 9 years. This sista is always sportin some kinda wrap on her locks and I'm always chekin her out and thinkin one of deez daze. Maybe one day I'll see if she'll let me post a pic.Yea, I know that each person's locks are YOUniquely theirs but ya can't blame a sista for dreamin and droolin. Some of you are probably check out my pics and doin the same thing. That's just fine with me. I'll say this and holla. As my hair is, someday your's will be. And as your hair is I, as well as other mature lockers, once were.

The bogo thing reminds me of a time that my sister and I were in the supermarket and we saw a sign that said, "BOGO Free." We were thinking that we should buy the one without BOGO..you know, no bogo in it...yeah, I know...lol. Maybe I'll try the shampoo. That might be my new product addiction, the perfect shampoo.
